The Cardinal Cafe is located at 128 Wanaque Avenue in the heart of downtown Pompton Lakes. (Right across from the intersection with Colfax Ave.)

Besides on-street parking, we have plenty of FREE off-street parking available behind the cafe. Use the Cardinal's rear entrance!
Directions From North
I-287 S: Take exit 55. Turn right at bottom of ramp and then right on Ringwood Ave. After 0.7 miles, turn left at traffic signal (Wanaque Ave). In 0.3 miles, the Cardinal Cafe will be on your right.
Route 23 S: Merge onto I-287 N via the ramp to Mahwah. Take exit 53 (Bloomingdale, Pompton Lakes). Turn right at bottom of ramp onto Paterson-Hamburg Tpk. In 0.9 miles, turn left onto Wanaque Ave. In 0.4 miles, the Cardinal Cafe will be on your left.
Directions From South
I-287 N: Take exit 53 (Bloomingdale, Pompton Lakes). Turn right at bottom of ramp onto Paterson-Hamburg Tpk. In 0.9 miles, turn left onto Wanaque Ave. In 0.4 miles, the Cardinal Cafe will be on your left.
Route 23 N: Slight right onto Newark-Pompton Tpk. (at the BP Gas Station) and continue for 0.9 miles to the traffic light. Turn right onto Paterson-Hamburg Tpk. In 0.8 miles, turn left onto Wanaque Ave. In 0.4 miles, the Cardinal Cafe will be on your left.
